Rabindra Bharati
University was founded on May 8, 1962 under the Rabindra Bharati Act to mark
the birth centenary of poet Rabindranath Tagore at his residential house at
Calcutta for the advancement of learning and culture particularly in the
branches of music, dance and drama. Assent of the President of India to the
Rabindra Bharati Act passed by the Legislature of West Bengal, was first
published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 10th January, 1962.

Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, offers Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), M Phil, Ph.D. and certificate courses in Arts, Fine Arts and Visual Arts. The university also offers MA in Mass Communication and Videography, MA in Human Rights & Human Development, B Ed, B Lib and M Lib.
Admission to all the courses offered by Rabindra Bharati University is through entrance exam conducted by the concerned department. After the application process is completed, the university issues a list of candidates selected for admission test/interview. It is mandatory for selected candidates to be present in person for admission test/interview. Notifications regarding date and venue of the admission test/interview will be posted on the official website post registrations.

To apply online, applicants have to register themselves first by entering email ID and mobile number. Once the registration is done successfully, a login password will be sent to the provided email ID and mobile number via SMS. This login ID is to be used as AIN (Application Identification Number) for future login purpose.
After Successful login applicant will be required to select course(s) he / she may wish to apply and check the eligibly first. Once found eligible he / she can fill up rest of the admission form. An applicant will be required to upload his / her scanned Photograph and Signature during filling up the admission form.
The exam board will conduct the annual exam two times in the year. The exam board of RBU will be uploaded the RBU Time Table 2019 after the official exam notification. The exam time table will be varied for every department. The exam board will upload the exam time table on the official announcement date.
Regular / Private / Non Collegiate / Ex-Students can download Rabindra Bharati University Time Table 2019 BA B.Sc B.Com or Rabindra Bharati University BA BSc BCom Time Table 2019, Rabindra Bharati University BA 2nd Year Time Table 2019 and Rabindra Bharati University BA 3rd / Final Year Time Table 2019 from the official website of RBU BA B.Sc B.Com Time Table will be announced on approx June / July 2019.
The Rabindra Bharati University Examination 2019 Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website. Admit Card is one of the major documents needed for the examination. The RBU 2019 Admit Card will include the candidate's name, date of birth, exam center, exam date, the name of the course, reporting time, registered roll number etc. The candidates should carry their admit card along with the other relevant documents at the reporting center of the examination.
