Board of Technical Education Rajasthan, is a body which is working directly under the Government of Rajasthan, controls all the technical educational activities in the state. Candidates, who want to go for higher educations provided by the colleges in Rajasthan, will have to pass the Pre admission test conducted by the board.
Candidates only who belong to any State other than Rajasthan State for admission to 1st year of degree engineering courses on the basis of AIEEE rank on 15% seats in the Private Unaided Engineering Institutions and 15% seats in the Self-Financed Courses in Govt. Aided Engineering Institutions of Rajasthan State (except MNIT, BITS Pilani and other deemed and Private universities).
BTER conducts various entrance tests. Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) is one of these tests. It is the entrance in the UG programs of the Engineering Colleges of the Rajasthan. It also called “Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy”
