JGU is a non-profit global University founded by the Haryana Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 2009 at Sonipat, Haryana (NCR of Delhi) via a generous philanthropic initiative of Mr. Naveen Jindal (Chancellor, JGU). The UGC has notified JGU as a private university founded by the state legislature of Haryana. JGU and JGLS are recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI). JGU has the following objectives, i.e., fostering global programmes, global curriculum, global research, global collaborations, and global interaction via a global faculty. This will enable India to become a provider of global education and become a leader in the transnational knowledge economy.
JGLS provides a five-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme; a three-year LL.B. (Hons.) programme and an LL.M. programme. JGLS has developed international collaborations with Harvard Law School, Yale Law School, New York University School of Law, King's College London, University College, Oxford, United Nations University and several other reputed law schools and universities worldwide. JGLS has outstanding faculty members with stellar academic qualifications and international experience. We have founded ten research centres in cutting-edge areas of law and policy with a view to creating knowledge and promoting excellence in research.
In the current academic year, JGU has founded the Jindal Global Business School (JGBS). The vision of JGBS is to impart global business education to equip Aspirants, managers, and professionals with necessary knowledge, acumen and skills to effectively tackle challenges faced by business and industry. JGBS will offer multi-disciplinary global business education to foster academic excellence, Industry partnerships, and global collaborations. Jindal Global Law School provides a five-year B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme; a three-year LL.B. programme and a one year LL.M. programme. for Five-year BA/BBA LL.B (H) programmes are required to make a payment of undergraduate programmes application fees of INR 3000/- (Indian Rupees, Three Thousand Only).
for 3-year LL.B/1-year LL.M programmes are required to make Post Graduate programmes application fees of INR 1000/ (Indian Rupees, One Thousand Only).
