DAIICT (Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology) is the only advanced institution named after the late. Dhirubhai Ambani, the founder of Reliance Group of India. The institution is founded in the year 2001 by the Mr. Anil Ambani, the chairman of the all listed companies of the Reliance Group. The DA-IICT was recognized as the Private University in the year 2004 by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and Gujarat government. The DA-IICT campus is spread over in 60 acres of land. The DA-IICT is located on the outskirt of the Gandhi Nagar City on the Bypass Road near National Institute of Fashion Technology. The campus is 20 minutes drive from the Airport and 50 minutes drive from the Railway Station. The DA-IICT provides admission on 380 seats for all programmes. The campus has around 69 faculty members from all departments out of which 56 faculty members are Ph.D. holders. The campus has 20 members in administration work. The DA-IICT is an Eco-friendly campus with huge numbers of plant and bird species founded in the campus area. The campus provides full facilities and amenities to the aspirants as well as the staff. The aspirants must have passed in final examination of 12th (Class XII) or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biologants y.aspirwith M.Sc./M.C.A., unless they have a subsequent M. Phil. degree will be considered equivalent to aspirants with a B.Tech./B.E. degree and are required to fulfill additional course and research requirements. aspirants appearing in their final Degree Examination and are expected to complete their examination before July 2019, are also eligible to apply.
