The University is privileged to have the blessings and good wishes of many important and distinguished Indians. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan delivered its first Convocation address on 1.3.1958 and blessed students and the institution. Similarly Dr. C.D. Deshmukh delivered the Convocation address on 16.11.1960, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on 10.12.1961 and Dr. C.P. Ramaswami Aiyar on 15.2.1963. Prof. R. Chidambaram, the well known atomic scientist was the Chief Guest at its convocation held on 28.2.2002, while Dr. J.S. Verma, farmer Chief Justice of India delivered the address in convocation on 7th March, 2005.
The University has produced a large number of internationally acclaimed academicians and scientists, a number of distinctions and awards have been given to its teachers and students and many international fellowships have been bagged by the Faculty members. In the past 5 years, more than 300 research scholars have earned Ph.D. as well as D.Sc. and D. Litt. degrees. Various research Projects in different disciplines, with an outlay of around Rs. 5 Crores have been completed during this period. Currently several research projects are in progress. The University is thus playing a key role in higher education in Central India.
The university offers a variety of courses with a number of different specializations at the undergraduate and postgraduate. The university also offers facility for research work through its M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses in a number of fields for study. The application procedure for the UG and PG courses commences by mid-April, for the M.Phil courses, by the end of June month and for the Ph.D. courses, the application process commences by the month of July. The university conducts separate entrance tests for evaluation of the eligible candidates and preparation of the merit list for the various courses. Reservation to SC/ST/OBC and physically handicapped candidates will as per M.P. Govt. / University rules.
Admission to the UG level courses is through an entrance conducted by the university. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test as well as in their previous qualifying examination. For admission to M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.A. Mass communication and M.J.C. courses, the candidates need to appear for an entrance test conducted by the university. Preparation of the final merit for these courses are based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test as well as in their previous qualifying examination.

Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur (RDVV) offers various UG & PG courses in the departments of Arts, Science, Commerce, Medicine & Management. Rani Durgavati University Time Table 2018 available to download on the official website. Students of RDVV will be downloading their BA BSc BCom Time Table 2018 from the official website in PDF format. After downloading the time table students need to start their exam preparation according to RDVV BA BSc BCom Time Table 2018-19 and can get good marks in exams. The admit card for the Ist, IInd, IIIrd, 4th or we can say that for the complete procedure can be checked from the official site about the timetable for all the semester. Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya or University, Jabalpur has announced the RDVV Time Table for upcoming Examination which is scheduled to be conducted in Sept or Oct. 2017. The University has published the exam schedule to give student plentiful time to study and well prepare for the test. Science stream courses like B.sc, M.sc and other computer related practical examination shall be conducted before the written exam.
