About Central University of Kashmir

The Central University of Kashmir (formerly known as the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir) was established in March 2009 with the appointment and joining of Prof. Abdul Wahid Qureshi, a noted academician and the former Vice Chancellor of University of Kashmir, as the First Vice Chancellor. The administrative office set up at 101, Baghi-Hyder, Hyderpora in May 2009 started functioning with a skeleton staff engaged on deputation/ contract basis Three more Masters programmes Urdu, Education and Tourism Management were launched for Academic Session 2012. The University will offer innovative courses for complimenting the efforts of the already existing Universities in the State. Recruitment of the faculty and the admission of the students will be on the all-India basis, adhering to reservation policy of Central Government.

The candidates seeking admissions to the degree programmes offered at the Central University of Kashmir will have to take the university’s entrance test (CUCET). Admission to the candidates will be given on the basis of their performance in the Common Entrance Test. It is mandatory for the candidates seeking admissions at CUK to appear for CUCET, failing which the admissions will not be granted under any circumstances.

The Central University of Kashmir offers UG/ PG/ PG Diploma/ Integrated M.Phil.-Ph.D./ Integrated BA LLB/ BBA LLB/ B.VOC courses to the aspirants.

• Candidates shall apply online for Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) through its website. The application fee could be submitted through both online and offline modes.
• Applicants with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) in 10+2 are eligible for B.VOC course.
• Those who have passed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized Board are eligible for admission to Integrated B.Com LLB/ BBA LLB and Integrated BSc/ MSc courses.
• For B.Ed. those who have completed UG/ PG program with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH candidates) in Science/ Social Science and Humanity are considered eligible.
• Applicants who have completed BE/ B.Tech with minimum 55% marks are eligible for M.Tech, those with at least 50% marks in Graduation are considered eligible for MTTM and MA program, for LLM applicant must have LLB (3/5 years) Degree with minimum 55% marks to become eligible.
• For M.Ed. students who hold B.Ed. Degree with minimum 50% marks is eligible to apply for admission. Similarly, for M.P.Ed. Course those with B.P.Ed. Degree is considered eligible.
• Candidates who have completed Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PH candidates) are considered eligible.

The candidates seeking admissions will have to fill the online application forms that are made available on the university’s official website. After filling the application forms, the candidates will be asked to make the payment of the prescribed application fee through the available payment modes. The details related to the application fee will be made available in due time.

How to Apply:

• Go to the website of CUCET, cucet 2018.co.in.
• Click on “Apply Now” tab.
• Register yourself by entering your DOB/ Email Id and Contact number.
• Log in to your account with your email id and password.
• Fill in the application form with correct details.
• Upload your photograph and signature.
• Make the payment of application fee.
• Submit the application form.

The students who are studying in this university can access the exam time table from the official site. The exam board will furnish the exam time table 2019 for all subjects on the official site. After the official notification, the students can download their Central University of Kashmir exam time table from the official site. The exam board will determine the exam schedule once the declaration has released. The exam board will not change the exam dates once it is updated.

Candidates can download Central University of Kashmir  BA Bsc Bcom Time Table/ Central University of Kashmir  BA BSc BCom Time Table/ Date Sheet/ Exam Dates Schedule/ Routine In Pdf Format from the official portal. Candidates can apply the CUCET BA BSC online Exam form before the last date.

The admit cards will be made available online on the official website. The candidates will have to download their admit cards and print a copy of the same. Then the candidates will have to paste their recent passport size photograph on the admit card and carry the same to the test centre, failing which the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the written exam. 

The Central University of Kashmir Examination 2019 Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website. Admit Card is one of the major documents needed for the examination. The CUCET 2019 Admit Card will include the candidate's name, date of birth, exam center, exam date, the name of the course, reporting time, registered roll number etc. The candidates should carry their admit card along with the other relevant documents at the reporting center of the examination.
