Navrachana University is a private statutory university. It is established in 2009 under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Government Gazette, Extraordinary, Volume L, and Tuesday, July 7, 2009). In March 2011, it was recognized by the University Grants Commission under the UGC Act, 1956. Navrachana University is a unitary non-affiliating university. It does not receive any grant-in-aid or other financial assistance from the Central or State Government. The main campus of the University is situated in the city of Vadodara on Vasna-Bhayli Road. The University has planned a campus over 70 acres, at Asoj on Vadodara- Halol highway.

Navrachna University (NU) offers degree and diploma courses at various UG and PG and doctoral levels, in the fields of Engineering, Law, Design, Planning, and Architecture, Commerce, Sciences, Business and Management Studies, Computer Applications and Education.
