About Gujarat University

Gujarat University is established in the year of 1949 in Ahmedabad. The Gujarat University was integrated under the Gujarat University Act of the State Government as a teaching and affiliating University. Gujarat University has seen the establishment of seven more Universities which were carved out of the jurisdiction of the Gujarat University, which are Sardar Patel University, Saurashtra University, Bhavnagar University, South Gujarat University, Gujarat Ayurveda University, Gujarat Agricultural University and North Gujarat University. University provides post graduate and graduate courses. Gujarat University is the Oldest and biggest university of the Gujarat State. Highest enrolment of students in the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the State. University provides the Banking and Postal facility to the students and staff members at a university campus.

Gujarat University Admission 2019

 It offers various courses at UG, PG and doctoral level. The admission process for Gujarat University begins in the month of June with the commencement of registrations for BA courses. The application process is online for UG and PG courses. However, for Ph.D. courses, candidates have to take a printout of the application form. The application form for these courses is available on university website. The students must check the eligibility before filling the application form. Candidates can get the application form from the college’s official website. The candidates have to pay the registration fee through online mode. Where a candidate has made more than one registrations, the registration made at the later stage shall be taken into consideration for admission purpose and the other registration shall be treated as canceled.

Candidate can fill up the External Examination Form for both practical & theory courses. GU Exam dates are also provided for both regular & external students. The following steps will help the candidate in filling up the form for External Examination.

• Now in the main menu, click on the Examination tab. In the Examination tab, click on the External Examination.
• Candidate will be redirected to course page of the Gujarat University External Examination Enrollment form.
• Login and continue.

Gujarat University application form will on the official website.Application Form 2019 will be available on the official website only through online process. The University will release the separate application forms for different courses. Candidates can keep the photocopy of the application form, acknowledgment slip and fee payment Challan for future reference.
